This is Power Driven Diesel’s heavy-duty SFI 29.1-rated flexplate for Dodge Cummins 47/48RE automatic transmissions. An upgraded flexplate is recommended for all trucks making 500 hp or more, as the stock-stamped steel flexplate commonly breaks around 500 hp. Our flexplates have been tested and proven reliable to over 1,000 hp and 2,000 lb-ft of torque.
When installing, check for run-out with a dial indicator. We recommend no more than .012" of total run-out!
