The 6\/6 design will produce more turbo whistle when compared to the stock design. When building a turbo there’s never a perfect choice for the compressor wheel. If the turbo must have extremely fast spooling characteristics we would recommend a 11\/0 blade configuration. On the other hand if the turbo must have optimum performance at high engine\/turbo rpms we would recommend fewer blades such as a 4\/4 blade configuration. This is because at higher rpms more primary blades tend to get in the way rather than pulling in more air.
